How to Cancel NY PTET Estimates

1) Login to your NYS online business account.

2) If you've forgotten your username or password for your online account, use the 'Forgot Username' and/or 'Forgot Password' options. If you still can't log in after trying these steps, call the NYS Online Help Center at 518-485-6027, select option 2, then option 4, for assistance with accessing your account.

3) Once you are logged in and on the Account Summary page, click on the ≡ Services menu located in the upper-left corner.

4) Under the "Services" heading, select "Corporation tax," and then select "PTET web file" from the expanded menu.

5) Select the last option "View and cancel a scheduled PTET estimated tax payment"

6) Select the payment you want to cancel and Press Continue.

7) Follow the rest of the prompts to cancel the scheduled payment.
